Unglazed oval shohin pot, made from dark red stoneware and then painted with lighter-colored clays and red porcelain. The upper rim features painted stars in relief, while the feet, also hand-sculpted, represent rocks with blades of grass sprouting from them. A distant mountain landscape emerges faintly from the bottom.
