This pot represents one of my first forays into the world of bonsai pots. I wanted to create a new drum pot shape inspired not by the classic Nagado Daiko (barrel-shaped with rivets) but rather by the Okedo Daiko (where the hides are pulled with ropes). The shape is deliberately stylized and simplified so as not to overwhelm the overall appearance, especially when paired with a bonsai.
